MySQL proxy and MySQL tricks

Just in case, you missed these pages, have a look at the Jan Kneschke (the man behind Lighttpd) excellent pages titled "playing with MySQL".

Jan exposes optimized MySQL queries for a set of very common (and usually very slow) tasks.

His MySQL Proxy is also a very exciting project.

Frank, the above link to the mysql-proxy is broken and there is no link for the “playing with mysql” article. Here they are again for handiness:

    http://jan.kneschke.de/projects/mysql and http://jan.kneschke.de/projects/mysql/mysql-proxy
