Persistent storage without cookies

Paul Duncan released PersistJS, a library designed to store persistent data in web browsers using Flash, Google Gears or browser-specific mechanisms.

SessionVars is a tiny alternative, that doesn't raise Security errors on Firefox but it's session-only. Still useful.
